Bentley is marking 80 years of craftsmanship at its Crewe headquarters with the creation of a remarkable one-off Continental GTC by Mulliner, the marque’s personal commissioning division. Designed as a tribute to the people, artistry, and innovation that have defined Bentley’s “Dream Factory” for eight decades, the bespoke convertible showcases the limitless possibilities of Bentley’s coachbuilding expertise.
Created exclusively for the anniversary, the Continental GTC wears a striking Supernova Purple Ombre finish developed by Bentley’s Paint Shop and CMF/Bespoke teams. The dramatic exterior transitions seamlessly from Supernova Purple to the deeper Supernova Purple Dark, while a bespoke “80” side graphic features a reverse ombré effect that celebrates the milestone. Contrasting wheel finishes complete the distinctive appearance.
Inside, the handcrafted cabin continues the anniversary theme with embroidered “80” headrests and a unique airbrushed fascia graphic depicting Bentley’s iconic Design Studio alongside a celebration of 80 years of vehicle production in Crewe. Every detail reflects the craftsmanship, personalization, and attention to detail that have become hallmarks of Mulliner.
The one-off Continental GTC made its public debut during a special celebration at Crewe that brought together more than 100 customer-owned Bentleys spanning the brand’s history. The event also welcomed the Bentley Drivers Club as it celebrated its 90th anniversary, creating a fitting tribute to both Bentley’s heritage and its future.
Since the first Bentley rolled off the Pyms Lane production line in 1946, generations of skilled craftspeople have blended traditional coachbuilding techniques with cutting-edge engineering to create some of the world’s most desirable luxury automobiles.
