Introducing The New DBX GT

From Aston Martin

The new DBX GT takes the muscular proportions of the DBX and moves them toward something more considered: less sporting aggression, more luxury; less visual noise, more detail. It is the DBX dressed for a different occasion, with craftsmanship and comfort pushed further forward without losing the performance underneath.

Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark describes it as a car for customers who “prefer assured elegance over sporting aggression” — an apt distinction for a DBX that is still very much capable of behaving badly when asked.

The change begins at the front. A new double-vaned grille gives the DBX GT a broader, more deliberate presence, with split metal vanes extending into the outer vents and incorporating the daytime running lights. It is a small but effective shift in proportion, making the front end feel wider and more substantial.

Crafted Details, Greater Presence

Along the sides, a new two-piece metal side strake introduces the kind of detail that rewards a closer look. Its polished and satin finishes are inspired by traditional watchmaking, bringing a tactile precision to one of Aston Martin’s most recognizable design elements.

The lower front bumper, side sills and rear diffuser are finished in body colour, keeping the exterior remarkably clean. New 22-inch forged wheels, finished in Satin Titanium with diamond-turned detailing, are paired with all-season tyres chosen for comfort and reduced road noise. For those who want a little more attitude, 23-inch wheels are available.

At the rear, four new exhaust finishers sit in horizontal pairs, emphasizing the width of the car. Polished outer surfaces and satin anodised inners give the exhausts an almost jewelry-like quality — an appropriately Aston Martin touch on something with this much mechanical intent.

And then there is the engine.

The DBX GT uses the bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 introduced with the DBX S, producing 727 PS and 900 Nm of torque. Turbocharger technology shared with the Valhalla supercar helps deliver the numbers: 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.

So while the DBX GT may be the more composed member of the family, it is hardly restrained beneath the surface.

Perhaps that is the point. The GT does not need to announce what it can do. It simply looks like it already knows.

Let’s Build One.
