Lamborghini Urus SE Performante

The Fastest Urus Ever

Before experiencing the Urus SE Performante on the road, we wanted to slow things down. In the quiet of the studio, every surface, sculpted line, and exposed carbon-fiber detail could be appreciated without distraction. A studio felt like the perfect place for a first look, allowing the design, materials, and engineering to speak for themselves before the performance does.

The latest evolution of Lamborghini’s plug-in hybrid Super SUV sets a new benchmark for performance, driving dynamics and aerodynamic efficiency, while preserving the everyday usability that has made the Urus a category-defining success. It’s a machine equally at home on the morning commute as it is clipping apexes on a race circuit.

The Urus SE Performante was developed around the idea of bold sportiness, strengthening the relationship between form and function. Every line is sharper, every surface more sculpted, and every aerodynamic element serves a purpose, proving once again that Lamborghini never separates design from performance.

The front end immediately establishes its intent. A new exposed carbon-fiber hood features a pronounced central power dome that recalls Lamborghini’s racing heritage. At the same time, the signature omega graphic and redesigned air intakes create a wider, more aggressive stance. The enlarged openings do more than sharpen the look—they improve cooling efficiency and optimize airflow to the radiators.

Designed to dominate the road and the racetrack

Carbon fiber plays a starring role throughout the vehicle, with more exposed carbon than any previous Urus. It gives the Performante a distinctly technical character while reducing weight and improving overall performance. From the side, a wider, more planted stance is complemented by new 23-inch Y-spoke wheels and redesigned carbon-fiber wheel arches that further emphasize its athletic proportions.

Inside, Lamborghini has refined the cockpit without losing its unmistakable “feel like a pilot” philosophy. A new 12.3-inch central touchscreen features an updated Human Machine Interface inspired by the Revuelto. At the same time, redesigned air vents, signature Y-shaped anodized aluminum accents, and new upholstery elevate both the visual and tactile experience. The dashboard is anchored by a new aviation-inspired mechanical switch panel, adding a satisfying mechanical precision to every interaction.

Ahead of the driver, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster works alongside the Lamborghini Infotainment System, placing telemetry, navigation and driver assistance features within easy reach. The result is a cockpit designed to keep the driver informed without distracting from the experience behind the wheel.

A new steering wheel designed specifically for the Urus SE Performante completes the interior. Finished with an exclusive carbon-fiber bezel, it balances motorsport-inspired precision with the craftsmanship expected from Lamborghini.

“With the Urus SE Performante, we give shape to driving emotions,” said Design Director Mitja Borkert. “While the Urus SE represents the elegant face of sportiness, the Urus SE Performante design is purely inspired by performance and our philosophy, ‘We give adrenaline a shape.’ To emphasize the vehicle’s supersport character, we decided to expose more carbon-fiber elements, both on the exterior and inside the cabin.”

Power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 paired with a permanent-magnet electric motor, producing the highest combined output ever offered in an Urus. Extensive use of carbon fiber, including the hood and front and rear bumpers, contributes to an improved power-to-weight ratio, while a pair of rear spoilers works in concert with the revised aerodynamics to increase downforce, improve brake cooling, and deliver greater stability at speed.

The Urus has always blurred the line between supercar and SUV. The Urus SE Performante doesn’t just blur it—it moves the line entirely. For those who believe practicality should never come at the expense of adrenaline, this is the most compelling Urus Lamborghini has ever built.
