T Is For Touring

The Porsche 911 family has expanded with the new lightweight 911 Carrera T, a model that has already attracted a fresh group of 911 enthusiasts who are seeking a purist driving experience coupled with standout sporty features.
The Carrera T is fast becoming the choice for those who are ready to make 911 a part of their lives.

The Porsche 911 Carrera T has a lineage that can be traced back to the homologation of the 911 T as a touring car in 1968. This modern incarnation of the 911 T offers a seven-speed manual gearbox, although our test vehicle was equipped with an eight-speed PDK transmission. Notably, it dispenses with rear seats, enhancing the overall driving exhilaration. Positioned between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S, the 911 Carrera T distinguishes itself within the model lineup with its Dark Grey accentuated details. Eye-catching contrasts are evident in elements like the top and bottom trim on the exterior mirrors, the newly designed door logos and rear logos, and the trim strips on the rear lid grille, all featuring Agate Grey accents. The windscreen also boasts a grey top tint and the high-gloss black tailpipes of the sports exhaust system contribute to the car’s extroverted and dynamic aesthetic.

Embracing the Essence Inside

Who Needs A Rear Seat

Inside the Carrera T, we were captivated by the matte black decorative trim and high-gloss black decorative inlays, which elevate the interior’s appeal. Our test vehicle was further enhanced with the optional Carrera T interior package, adding a personalized touch. The 911 Carrera T offers the option of Adaptive Sports Seats Plus for those who desire added comfort and support, as well as the sportier and exceptionally lightweight full bucket seats featuring Race Tex seat centers. The Carrera T interior package can be augmented with an optional extended leather interior, which extends to the armrests on the door panels and center console, as well as the upper sections of the dashboard and door panel trim.

A Palette of Possibilities

This Porsche Is Just Fire

The new 911 Carrera T invites enthusiasts to choose from four solid colors: Black, White, Guardsred, and Racing Yellow, as well as four metallic finishes: Deep Black, Gentian Blue, Ice Grey, and GTsilver. Special colors such as Chalk, Ruby Star Neo, Carmine Red, Shark Blue, and Python Green are also available. Buyers of the 911 Carrera T have the option to explore the Paint to Sample program, offering access to over 110 available color tones. As the trend towards stripped-down, unadulterated driving experiences takes center stage, the exceptionally sporty configuration of the 911 Carrera T beckons. In essence, who needs rear seats when the thrill of the drive awaits? It’s time to seek out winding roads and embrace the pure joy of driving.
