Flashing Back To 2016 At The Wynn Las Vegas Resort Where Rolls-Royce Officially Debuted The Black Badge.
At the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, Rolls-Royce returns to the place where Black Badge first made its appearance, marking a decade of its darker, more unconventional expression.
In 2016, beneath the lights of Wynn Las Vegas, Rolls-Royce introduced Black Badge, a different expression of the marque that challenged some of the conventions associated with traditional luxury. Darker in appearance and more assertive in character, it offered a new perspective on what a Rolls-Royce could be.
Last year, we joined the marque for A Black Badge Adventure, exploring that same spirit in a very different setting.
The marque returned to Wynn Las Vegas for the 2026 Concours, marking the anniversary with a presentation of the Black Badge lineup alongside the Gradient Spectre Series II. The occasion also marked the fifth consecutive year that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America has supported the event.
Created for clients with a more individualistic approach to luxury, Black Badge introduced a distinctive design language to the Rolls-Royce range. Its darker finishes, bolder details and more assertive character offered an alternative to the marque’s familiar aesthetic, while retaining the craftsmanship, refinement and attention to detail that define every Rolls-Royce.
It was never intended as simply a darker finish. Black Badge represented a different attitude toward the marque, one that embraced individuality and a willingness to move beyond convention.
At this year’s Concours, the full Black Badge lineup came together, demonstrating how the concept has developed across the Rolls-Royce range. Each model brings its own interpretation of the collection’s distinctive character, while the Gradient Spectre Series II adds an electric dimension to the presentation.
“Ten years after Black Badge was introduced at Wynn Las Vegas, returning here for the 2026 Las Vegas Concours is a meaningful moment for Rolls-Royce. Black Badge has become an important expression of individuality within the marque, and presenting the full lineup alongside Gradient Spectre Series II reflects the continuing evolution of Rolls-Royce through design, innovation and Bespoke craftsmanship,” said Nick Keen, President, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America.
The return to Wynn brings the story full circle. What began in 2016 as a more unconventional interpretation of Rolls-Royce has become an established part of the marque’s identity, continuing to evolve in design and through bespoke commissioning.
For Rolls-Royce, the anniversary is as much about looking ahead as it is about reflecting on the past. Ten years on, Black Badge remains an expression of the marque’s more individual side.
