It was only a few years ago when Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös acknowledged what many insiders had always sensed: beneath the brand’s immaculate polish lived a streak of subversion. As Rolls-Royce ownership shifted younger, bolder, and more diverse, the marque evolved with them, giving birth to Black Badge—its darker, more defiant alter ego. So when the Rolls-Royce team invited us to push the Black Badge lineup beyond the limits—literally—we were all in. The experience began at The Wynn Las Vegas, where a small convoy of Black Badge Ghost Series II, Black Badge Cullinan Series II, and Black Badge Spectre, the first fully electric Black Badge and the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built, waited quietly in the sun. Leaving behind the synchronized fountains and manicured glamour of The Strip, we headed toward the raw, cinematic expanse of the Nevada desert. Out there, on private closed roads carved through sand, rock, and powder, Rolls-Royce had created a playground as unexpected as it was thrilling.
