It doesn’t seem that long ago we took part in the All-New Infiniti QX60 in northern California. Recently on a very cold winter day in Big Sky, MT we make our way in the Infiniti QX60 to a closed Yellowstone Airport. Recently on a very cold winter day in Big Sky, MT we made our way in the Infiniti QX60 to a closed Yellowstone Airport where we did of winter performance driving the latest from Infiniti as part “Winter x INFINITI” ice-drive event.
With QX60 outfitted with Bridgestone’s Blizzak winter tires, we felt earned confidence driving on the crazy winter conditions thanks to the solid grip and traction on the ice track.
The QX60 is a full-on luxury SUV and yet we were so impressed on how well it handled in all kinds of winter drive conditions that were on our testing course, including unplowed roads to a full-on winter ice track.
Do not let this beautiful looking SUV fool you, it is more than winter capable complete with its fabulous interior that is full of technology to insure stress-free driving.
Thanks to its 295-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine teamed with an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission we had no shortage of power. but it was The five-mode drive selector that kept us in check in snow mode. The long and short of it all is that the QX60 was a great ride for any winter escape. It has a ton of space for snowboards or skis, suitcases, and people. It is also handled very well on the snowy mountainous roads of Big Sky proving QX60 is all about style with substance.
At the time of this posting, the 2023 QX60 has once again been recognized for its excellence in safety features by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) with a TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation. QX60 retains its top rating after IIHS strengthened the requirements for its awards this year.
