After spending time with Toyota’s all-electric bZ4X with an EPA-estimated range rating of up to 252 miles per charge for XLE FWD, it became clear that this bold SUV design, with premium finishes, would make a great choice for your first EV. Should you be looking to add a second set of wheels to a household this all-new bZ4X would be an ideal addition to any driveway or garage.
Now arriving in dealerships, the bZ4X is a very modern take on what a battery-electric multipurpose vehicle should be complete with a well-balanced design. From the front, the design emphasizes the corners to achieve a futuristic aesthetic. The result is an aerodynamic appearance, with the curved shape of the front bumper expressing a unique look and feel. The headlamps further highlight the contours of bZ4X, with the main lamps arranged directly under the signature lamps to create a smart and vigorous impression.
Offered in two grades, XLE and Limited, in both Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD), the bZ4X offers something for everyone entering the EV (electric vehicle) world. Complimented by Toyota’s strong dealer network, the transition to electric is seamless, and rewarding.
Once you step inside the bZ4X you notice small things that tell you you are sitting in a next-gen mobility machine. Intuitive designs encourage the driver to keep their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel all within a spacious, quiet, and relaxing space. With fantastic legroom for both front and rear seats as well as copious side-to-side space in the rear Toyota is calling this “home-like comfort.” In our limited, we had Piano-black parts that were featured throughout the bZ4X as well as soft-touch material added to the dashboard for a premium touch and hats off to Toyota for that unique instrument panel.
The bZ4X comes standard with a 12.3-inch widescreen Toyota Audio Multimedia system, designed and engineered by Toyota’s Texas-based Connected Technologies team. The bZ4X is filled with enhanced connectivity and convenience features, including being Over-the-Air (OTA) updatable. Users can interact with the system through intuitive touch and voice activation controls. With an included three-year trial, the latest Connected Service, Drive Connect, gives access to Intelligent Assistant, Cloud Navigation, and Destination Assist. With Intelligent Assistant, simple phrases like “Hey Toyota” awaken the system for voice-activated commands to search for directions, find Points of Interest (POI), adjust audio controls, change the cabin temperatures, and more.
