New AMG Performance steering wheel in twin-spoke design

Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate

With that AMG-specific radiator grille, featuring vertical slats and larger central star and aggressive wheel arches flared further there is no question that Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate (wagon) is aggressive in every way.

During our test drive from Southport, CT to Sea Cliff, Long Island handfuls of curious car lovers pressed us for a better look at this E63 S Estate. The Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate naturally attracts consumers for its chic style and bold design. After spending time driving this wagon it became clear, that performance is a stellar feature adding attractiveness to this bold Mercedes.

The Handcrafted AMG V8 Biturbo engine propels this E63 S Estate from 0-60 mph in about 3.4 seconds and this wagon is winter-ready thanks to AMG Performance 4MATIC+ standard all-wheel drive.

aggressive in every way.

Inside it is all about the AMG experience, from AMG seats in exclusive Nappa leather to an MBUX infotainment system with a touchscreen and touchpad. Intelligent voice control plus AMG-specific displays and settings ease the use of the display and control features. Two 12.3-inch screens are on board as standard and the displays for the instrument cluster and multimedia displays are housed beneath a shared glass cover to form a widescreen Cockpit. Options for the instrument cluster’s display include three AMG display styles, “Modern Classic”, “Sport” and “Supersport”. The “Supersport” mode is our favorite thanks to a central, round rev counter and horizontal displays presented in perspective to the left and right of the rev counter, creating a spatial impression of depth. Via the AMG menu, the driver can select various AMG displays such as Engine Data, gear speed indicator, warm-up, set-up, G-meter, and racetimer. With individual AMG displays that present visualization of the drive programs or telemetry data, the touchscreen multimedia display also underscores the performance-oriented configuration

The design team and aerodynamics experts came together to bring to the world this high-style AMG with agile handling characteristics and optimized driving stability at high speed on the highway.

With six dynamic select drive modes of Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual, and Race, the Mercedes-AMG E63 S will have you rethinking the word “wagon.”  Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate
