Living With The S

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class came onto the scene a short time ago and has already received high praises from the owners that made their early purchase. Equal praise and admiration are rampant from those who catch a glimpse of one on the roads from Jackson Hole to London. The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class won this year’s World Luxury Car Of The Year and in winning this S-Class proved that you can marry craftsmanship and technology very attractively.

135 Years Of Engineering & Luxury

Life with S-Class is a statement in seamless luxury. Weekend getaways, city use, and to that once-a-week in-office hybrid work schedule, the new S-Class refined elegance always gets noticed. In short, the S-Class exemplifies the allure of Mercedes-Benz’s enriching focus on your senses. The inside interior is next-level! Nodding to the trends in luxury, the designers have created a modern lush ambiance with lounge-like characteristics marked by elegance, airiness, and high-quality features. The dashboard stands out with its new architecture, modern surface design, and ergonomic display arrangement. But the feelgood aspect goes even further thanks to that optimal ride quality, low noise levels, and an extensive range of Comfort programs all designed to demonstrates the S-Class’s consistent attention to the well-being of everyone in the cabin.

The interior standout is the new second-generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) that debuts in the new S-Class. Another milestone is the interface between the driver, passengers, and vehicle. With up to five screens on board, some with OLED technology. At the touch of a button, the new 3D driver display, for the first time, allows spatial perception of the surroundings with 3D effect thanks to eye-tracking. The oversize head-up display, with augmented reality content, is a similarly impressive feature. When navigating, for example, animated turn-off arrows or fish bones icons are precisely and virtually projected onto the road lane for guidance.

The S-Class has always been a trendsetter in the world of luxury, and this new Benz continues that tradition beautifully. The interplay between emotion and intelligence becomes tangible and awakens a desire for the brand and the S- Class itself. Innovation in combination with the latest technology and traditional craftsmanship make this vehicle unique.

New Dashboard Architecture

With a short front overhang, a long wheelbase, and a balanced rear overhang, the S-Class is designed as a classical sedan with perfect proportions. Other unmistakable exterior features include the stretched hood, upright front end with the mounted star, the long passenger cabin, and the flowing C-pillar with its sculptured shoulder and that wide track and flush-mounted wheels with modern designs are beyond everything.

The reduced character lines along the sides and the cleverly contoured surfaces with a sculptured look create special light effects. At the same time, they embody the Mercedes-Benz design philosophy of sensual purity. Walking up to the new S-Class, one is impressed with its luxurious radiator grille. Accentuated as high-tech elements are numerous sensors and the cameras of the assistance systems behind the grille.

From LED interactive interior lighting to Active Blind Spot Assist and the ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice assistant living with the S-Class has been nothing short of pure joy.

“The S-Class is the world’s best-selling luxury sedan. With the latest generation, we want to offer our customers innovation, safety, comfort, and quality as never before,” says Ola Källenius, Chairman of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG. “The new S-Class reinforces our claim to produce the best automobile in the world,” states Markus Schäfer, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG; responsible for Daimler Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars COO. “This is where covetable luxury meets the greatest possible safety and the highest level of comfort.”
