Aston Martin DBX

It was in 2021 when Aston Martin gave us an SUV like no other. Fast forward to today and we have to give them a massive shout-out for taking their mastery to another level in creating the DBX. For this shoot, we went with an incomparable DBX in Stratus White with an all metallic black leather interior. The DBX, prized for its brawn, speed, performance, excitement, and luxury,  is now the most desirable car on the road today, offering exceptional performance, fabulously realized luxurious appointments, and the usability of an SUV – DBX versatility goes far beyond the storage capabilities.

Inside the DBX,

Every flowing curved line and rounded edge recalls the vehicle’s aerodynamic design and ensconces the driver in a handsome, intuitive, and elegant control seat. The DBX’s full-length glass panoramic room and frameless door expand the illusion of space from within. To reach the highest level of comfort every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Evidence of the impressive detail in design for the ergonomic positioning of the car’s key control, the glove box design, and the separate central armrests.

Lightening Strikes Again

The seats are trimmed in sumptuous, full-grain leather, sourced from long-term partner Bridge of Weir. An industry first, both the headlining and electric roof blind in our test car was in Alcantara® finish, providing a harmonious design, light obscuration, and solar attenuation without compromising headroom. DBX maintains the authenticity of materials, with judicious use of metal, glass, and wood throughout the cabin. Also, another design highlight includes the elegantly crafted bridged center console allowing for both flexible storage below and a beautiful, architectural centerpiece. This feature keeps valuables close to hand while not occupying the passenger seat and away from dirt on the car’s floor mats. As part of ‘Q by Aston Martin’ – Aston Martin’s personalization service – optional features of this center console can be machined from a solid piece of wood, such as Walnut, for added tactility.

Sitting on the sands of the fabulous Two Mile Hollow Beach in East Hampton it is easy to note that the signature ‘DB’ grille with sculptured sides and the strong-featured design line to the tailgate draw inspiration from Vantage. Other details like the hidden side glass seals on the frameless doors and glass B-pillar finishers add an elegant sleekness and confidence to the stance.

Just like all Aston Martin’s aerodynamics are crazy important. The daytime running lights have an integrated aerodynamic duct, which channels air through the front wheel arches and along the side, helping to reduce both drag and lift while also cooling the brakes. Build A DBX.
