All-New Kona N

From California’s Sonoma Raceway to the hot desert roads, and in the charming Napa resort towns this little stylish Hyundai was at home no matter where the wheels hit the asphalt. Hyundai’s all-new Kona N is fun to drive and this latest addition to Hyundai’s growing high-performance N lineup is the first N Kona model. With its powerful road presence, it is also the first N model with a versatile SUV body configuration. The Kona N is just a winning combination of versatility, spirited acceleration, handling agility, and track readiness all in a package that will not hurt your bank account.

First High-Performance SUV for Hyundai’s N Brand

Hyundai N New Brand Claim:

'Never Just Drive'

For folks that are looking to get more out of a compact SUV and go beyond the ordinary, this N is a great fit. With its sporty design, body-colored fenders, and 19-inch alloy wheels, this N impresses with a wide muscular body and road-hugging appearance. Kona N-specific, 19-inch wheels with Pirelli P-Zero summer tires set off a powerful visual impression that declares “I Am Track Ready.”

Inside that 10.25-inch infotainment is a stand-out along with a digital cluster system featuring an exclusive racing display that adds a new dimension with N or Sport driving modes. The new infotainment system’s ‘N mode design’ provides digitalized elements, communicates updates such as lap time and N track maps with other performance data. The Kona N also maximizes driving fun and excitement using various widgets with excellent visibility that allow easy access to important drive information in real-time such as boost pressure, throttle position, and oil/engine temperature. Just like popular racing video games, Kona N has customizable N buttons that can be set to toggle driver-defined custom modes. The custom modes can be pre-set according to each driver’s preferences. The buttons can also activate the lap timer.

Sporty Design

Powerful Presence

Kona N is powered by a flat-power, 2.0-liter, turbocharged, and inter-cooled, direct-injected engine with an N eight-speed wet, dual-clutch transmission (N DCT) with paddle shifters complete this with Launch Control and you have the makings of a true drivers car.

All this works well with five distinct drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, N, and Custom. These drive modes change the character of the Kona N by adjusting the driving parameters of the engine, Electronic Stability Control, exhaust note, and steering feel, optimizing each for a variety of driving conditions that you will be driving just for the joy of it.
