The First-Ever CR-V TrailSport Hybrid

Rugged Exterior Design

Something caught our eye over at Honda—a bold evolution of their best-selling model that effortlessly blends rugged capability with elevated utility. The debut of the first-ever CR-V TrailSport Hybrid brings a fresh, outdoorsy edge to Honda’s famously practical SUV, layering in adventurous styling and off-road credibility without compromising comfort or efficiency.

Our test model arrived in the exclusive Ash Green Metallic, a new color developed specifically for TrailSport. The hue, subtly matte and undeniably modern, emphasized the SUV’s assertive profile. From its sculpted front and rear fascia to the polished stainless-steel exhaust finishers and aggressive wheels, this CR-V doesn’t just drive—it commands.

But there’s substance behind the style. Honda has engineered the TrailSport Hybrid to be more than a city slicker in trail clothes. With standard all-wheel drive and trail-ready all-terrain tires, the model offers confidence on and off the pavement. Enhanced traction management, activated at speeds below 9 mph, makes climbing or maneuvering through less-than-ideal conditions feel seamless. Adding to its dynamic capability is a new “Individual” drive mode—available on the Sport Touring Hybrid—that allows drivers to tailor throttle response and steering feel to their preferences.

Honda’s Rugged New Chapter in Adventure Chic

Talk About Going Anywhere

Inside, the CR-V TrailSport Hybrid features a cabin that is both thoughtfully equipped and visually refined. The TrailSport logo is subtly embroidered on the front seat headrests and molded onto the rugged all-season floor mats. As the sun dips, soft amber ambient lighting glows from the footwells, overhead console, door trays, and cupholders, adding an unexpected layer of warmth to the utilitarian interior.

This is also the first Honda vehicle to feature Google built-in. Google Assistant, Google Maps, and access to Google Play are now integrated directly into the dashboard via a 9-inch touchscreen, supported by a complimentary 3-year unlimited data plan. The result is a more connected and personalized driving experience, making long drives and back-road detours alike more intuitive.

The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid isn’t just well-appointed—it’s thoroughly equipped for everyday escape. Features like the Honda Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™, a heated steering wheel and front seats, power tailgate, moonroof, a vibrant 10.2-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and a wireless phone charger all come standard, reminding us that rugged doesn’t have to mean rough.

Honda’s CR-V has long set the benchmark in its category. With the TrailSport Hybrid, it ventures into new territory—more confident, more capable, and with a sense of adventure built right in.

Let’s build your CR-V TrailSport Hybrid.
