Something that could handle a grocery run as confidently as a snow-dusted mountain road.

With 630 horsepower, the Macan Turbo Electric doesn’t just hustle—it launches. The acceleration is visceral, immediate, and addictive. It’s every bit as thrilling to drive as my 718, but with something neither of my previous Porsches could offer: true utility. With 288 miles of range, it’s got the legs for longer weekend escapes—and I’ve already tested that on a trip to my mountain cabin.
Thanks to its added ground clearance and all-wheel drive, I didn’t think twice about the gravel trail or the light dusting of snow. Inside, the cargo space swallowed my gear with ease—no strategic packing required.
There’s something surreal about carving up a twisting road in an SUV that behaves more like a sports car. The steering is crisp, the ride planted, and the performance always eager. It’s Porsche perfection—just lifted and roomier.
