Nestled within 16 acres of ancient redwoods, this wellness retreat offers a transformative experience centered on community, introspection, and immersion in nature. Formerly known as Stillheart Institute, the Canyon Ranch Wellness Retreat in Woodside has been reimagined by Cole Martinez Curtis & Associates. The new design seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings, encouraging a deeper connection to the environment.
The property boasts 14 rooms in the main lodge and an additional 24 rooms in standalone luxury treehouses, perched on stilts amidst the towering redwoods. Each guest room provides a tranquil sanctuary, featuring king or double queen beds, and most offer private balconies with teak furnishings. Expansive wraparound decks, an outdoor labyrinth, serene garden spaces, and an invigorating outdoor obstacle course invite guests to immerse themselves in the beauty that surrounds them.
A captivating assortment of artwork, curated in collaboration with Julie Coyle Art Associates, graces the property, showcasing pieces from local Californian artists. Among these is Bruce Johnson’s striking sculpture, “THE VOID,” crafted from salvaged old-growth redwood, drawing inspiration from the tranquility of the majestic trees and the transformative wellness experience offered by Canyon Ranch.
