For years, Genesis vehicles have been compared to the finest coming out of Germany. That’s understandable—but perhaps it’s time to let Genesis stand on its own, as a benchmark of modern Korean luxury. With the newly redesigned 2026 GV70 SUV, utility meets refinement in a strikingly elevated form.
“GV70 is the most popular Genesis model in North America, and the 2026 model year updates bring even more excitement to our SUV lineup,” said Tedros Mengiste, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Motor North America. “With its athletic appearance, updated cabin, and elevated driving experience, we look forward to welcoming even more customers into our growing GV70 family.”
The exterior of the 2026 GV70 has been reimagined with sharper details and a more athletic stance. The redesigned G-Matrix Crest Grille is flanked by Genesis’ signature two-line headlamps, now featuring advanced Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology. A bold new skid plate design and extended air intake grilles contribute to a stronger, sportier presence. Side profiles are enhanced by newly styled 19- and 21-inch wheels, while the rear fascia has been updated with reworked exhaust tips for a refined, aggressive finish.
Inside, the GV70 exudes high-tech sophistication with a seamless 27-inch OLED display that combines the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system in one expansive, horizontal layout. Comfort and convenience are further elevated by enhanced voice recognition, improved over-the-air updates, Genesis Digital Key, Smart Key, Terrain Mode, and new standard ambient lighting with adjustable color settings. For audiophiles, the available Bang & Olufsen surround sound system with Beosonic technology offers a deeply immersive listening experience.
The 2026 GV70 features a full suite of available advanced safety and driver-assistance systems, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Surround View Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Avoidance Assist, Parking Distance Warning, and Highway Driving Assist, all working in concert to inspire confidence behind the wheel.
Two powertrains are available for the 2026 GV70. The first is a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with all-wheel drive, delivering 300 horsepower. The second is a more powerful 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, also with all-wheel drive, generating 375 horsepower and offering a more dynamic driving experience.
The GV70 launches with a selection of nine exterior color options, including the new Ceres Blue—a radiant hue inspired by the icy dwarf planet orbiting between Mars and Jupiter. Bering Blue, a solid metallic color with a cool blend of blue and gray inspired by the Bering Sea, will be offered at a later date. Interior selections include four Nappa leather color options, highlighted by Ultramarine Blue, with newly available sport orange stitching to further personalize the cabin.
