The Rolls-Royce Dawn

The Pinnacle Of Open Air Luxury

Dawn, From The House of Rolls-Royce

It was not long ago when the Rolls-Royce Dawn started being seen on the country roads of England and cutting through the curvy roads of Malibu Canyon. The rapture for Dawn captivated those that dream of the exceptional. Fast forward to the summer of 2020 and the Rolls-Royce Dawn is still that object of allure for both the automotive and fashion press. For the fabulous few that now own the Dawn, there is no better reward for a job well done then a Rolls-Royce. For legions of others the admiration, praise, and high regards swells with each encounter. At first sight the Dawn may have you recalling the Wraith. While its bold, broad, and beautiful stature is unmistakably a Rolls-Royce, 80 percent of the body panels are unique to the Dawn. The Dawn is a driver’s car, with room for three great comrades, (owners report that their circle of immediate best friends expands rapidly after purchase) and it is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 563 hp. Similar to that of a private jet the Dawn has a Power Reserve Gauge that details the remaining power available for use and it reveals a nearly arresting reserve when traveling at 65mph. In full effect, the Rolls-Royce magic carpet ride is active with satellite-enabled eight-speed automatic transmission silently in communication with the GPS system to gear down or up in anticipation of the impending terrain. Equally impressive is the speed at which the convertible soft top opens and closes. It takes a mere and silent 22 seconds while traveling at up to 32 miles per hour, to ensconce oneself inside and assure privacy from admiringly curious eyes.

Built with 6 layers of sound deadening installation the Dawn is one of the quietest cabins on the road, even with the roof down. With sixteen individually tuned speakers, the sound within the Dawn is stellar. With both theater and stereo setting the sound sensations to outmatch the best home systems. Two bass speakers are located in the trunk and there are seven tweeters placed within the passenger area. The system uses a highly sensitive microphone to monitor ambient exterior noise, so that volume and tone levels can be adjusted to ensure that the system delivers perfectly consistent sound.

British Style At Its Finest

Every bit a Rolls-Royce the doors are imposing, and in the words of Rolls-Royce, “Evocative of the classic sports car profile, they add considerably to the easy entry and egress of rear passengers from Dawn’s luxurious embrace” states Rolls-Royce, and the doors are unquestionable Rolls-Royce in their weightlessness and heft. Rear passengers do not merely “get out” of a Rolls-Royce Dawn, but rather stand and disembark as if from a Riva Motor Launch onto a private jetty in the Principality of Monaco. In true Rolls-Royce fashion, the Dawn excels at meeting expectations and going beyond everything you once considered the ultimate reward for your successes.
