Throughout the grounds, mosaic pavements curve organically beneathfoot, laid by Portuguese craftsmen and inspired by the fluid geometries of Roberto Burle Marx’s celebrated work along Copacabana Beach. These graphic surfaces guide movement and subtly echo the surrounding landscape, blurring the line between architecture and terrain.

The hotel’s outdoor infinity pool, carved directly into the rockface, is a masterclass in restraint. Dressed in vivid orange loungers that punctuate the neutral palette of stone and sea, the pool feels suspended above the coastline. Mauro Colagreco, the three-Michelin-starred chef behind nearby Mirazur in Menton, brings a locally rooted, seasonally driven philosophy, while Jean-Georges Vongerichten contributes his globally informed, design-forward approach to dining.
