Bentley Motors has just unveiled the fourth generation Continental GT Speed, making waves in the fashion and design world. This new model continues the 21-year tradition of the Continental GT family, redefining the ultimate blend of supercar performance, handcrafted luxury, and everyday usability that epitomizes Bentley ownership. Notably, for the first time in the history of the Continental GT, the convertible Continental GTC is being launched simultaneously with the coupe. Providing customers with unparalleled flexibility, Bentley allows them to revel in exhilarating open-top and refined closed-roof driving experiences.
Shout out to the Bentley design team for this comprehensive exterior and interior redesign. The clean modern detailing follows the new design DNA established by the coach-built Bentley Bacalar and Batur. The design of the New Continental GT is particularly striking, starting with its upright, elegant grille that reinforces its status as an exceptional luxury grand tourer. The ‘endless bonnet’ creates a strong horizontal line through the car, indicating the high-performance engine and pure speed.
Inside, the focus is on the new precision quilt pattern, inspired by fashion runways. This design features sculpted quilting, fading perforations, and new quilt embroidery, creating the ultimate cocooning environment. The cabin’s contemporary aesthetic is enhanced by dark chrome accents, which give an understated character to door handles, switches, speaker grilles, and other areas. Bentley’s bespoke division, Mulliner, will also offer a collection of unique features, enabling further personalization of the latest model.
Bentley is also enhancing the audio experience in the new Continental GT with a choice of three premium audio systems. The standard system includes 10 speakers and 650 Watts. For lifestyle-oriented customers, a Bang & Olufsen system offers 1,500 Watts and 16 speakers, complete with illuminated speaker grilles. True audiophiles can opt for the Naim system, boasting 2,200 Watts, 18 speakers, Active Bass Transducers built into the front seats, and eight sound modes. Laminated acoustic glass for the windscreen and side windows ensures a nine-decibel reduction in exterior noise compared to non-acoustic glazing. The innovative Bentley Rotating Display adds to the luxury, featuring a three-sided display with a 12.3″ high-definition screen, three elegant analog dials, and an unbroken side of handcrafted veneer, all selectable at the touch of a button.
Bentley has always been about style with substance and that is so true with the new Continental GT Speed, that a brand-new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain has been developed. The new engine combines a new 4.0 liter V8 engine capable of producing 600 PS (584 bhp) with a 190 PS (187 bhp) electric motor. Peak system output is 782 PS (771 bhp) – enough for a 0-60 mph sprint time of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h).
The new Continental GT Speed is on a new level thanks to its striking modern design, powerful stance, and elegant lines, the fourth generation positions the car ahead of others in comfort, beautiful artisanal craftsmanship, and personal choice that will have you be the envy of everyone.
