The very popular Mercedes GLB is a hit with the younger set and equally popular for those that do not need the space of a full-size SUV in their life. This new EQB SUV brings an electric addition to the Mercedes-EQ lineup.
All versions of the EQB can officially cover up to 257 miles on a full charge, more than enough for around-town driving or casual weekend road trips. The EQB is fitted with a lithium-ion battery with a high energy density. It has a maximum voltage of 420 V and, with a nominal capacity of around 190 Ah, has a usable energy content of 66.5 kWh.
Now in the world of electric luxury, the EQB SUV just may be one of the best values around given its spaciousness and room for seven passengers, with an optional third row. As well as providing the high level of comfort, convenience and unique EQ-specific features expected from Mercedes-EQ.
The base EQB has a lot of standard equipment, from EQ-specific design language to front and rear LED light bands that are seamlessly integrated into the black-panel grill. The EQB interior features the new-generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) Multimedia System with an Augmented Reality Navigation System with Electric Intelligence highlighted on the 10.25” Digital Instrument Cluster and 10.25” Touchscreen Multimedia Display. Certain safety features such as Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Active Brake Assist are also equipped as standard.
From an interior that’s comfortable and luxurious to that familiar MBUX dual-screen infotainment system to that distinctive design feature of the all-electric world of Mercedes-EQ vehicles, means you’re that standout. Sorry… not sorry Tesla!
