Owners of the LC500 and the LC500h  are already driving objects of envy. The LC500 Convertible takes both desire and envy to a new level of ferocity. Lexus has fantastically engineered true supercar performance into the LC500 without a premium supercar price.

For 2023 this 5.0-liter V8 471 horsepower dream ride will do 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds which is unchanged from the outgoing model year and thanks Lexus for limiting the top speed to 168mph. On a closed test track, the LC500 reached near-top speeds effortlessly. This powerhouse of a ride only needs to slow to 31 mph to operate the retracting roof. Concluding its opening in only 15 and taking 16 seconds to close to ensure maximized usability. More than enough time to avoid those sudden Miami downpours

An Open Air
Design Masterpiece

With similar handling dynamics as the LC 500, Lexus did an impressive job, in keeping road noise down when the roof is open while allowing a sexy amplification of the exhaust note roar from the naturally-aspirated V8. Our test car in Structural Blue with white semi-aniline leather interior trim, unique blue top, gray headlamp garnishes, side intake garnishes, and tail lamp garnishes was an attention grabber at East Hampton’s Main Beach parking lot.

I had easy access to my RUN DMC megamix thanks to the convenience of the Lexus+Alexa app which seamlessly integrates Amazon Alexa compatibility and voice control. Adding to the overall interior allure is the super sharp 10.3-inch high-resolution split-screen multimedia display. The standard transparent polycarbonate wind deflector behind the rear seats is designed to restrict unwanted air from entering the cabin in the LC500 Convertible is equally fantastic.
