All-New Lexus NX

All-New Lexus NX

Style & Technology
With Substance

We had the great privilege to experience the all-new NX 450h+, the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in the Lexus line-up. During our super warm week in the resort town of Scottsdale, Arizona we were versed in the model range of the 2022 Lexus NX and enlightened about the next chapter for all things Lexus.

With an eye on younger drivers and the young at heart, the 2022 Lexus NX is longer, wider, and taller than the previous model. Added wow-factors include the new Lexus Interface multimedia system with an available 14-inch touch screen and modern appointments inside. With fantastic design and four new power trains, including two hybrid-electric models, Lexus has gone beyond traditional thinking to create an NX for every lifestyle.

Lexus started with a clean sheet of paper for the NX redesigning the NX inside and out. Every exterior surface has been re-imagined. The redesigned front signature spindle grille complements the fabulous elegant new block LEXUS rear badge while the full-width taillamps are boldly distinct.

Lexus Driving Signature results from an entirely new approach to vehicle development. This ensures a uniquely Lexus experience where each vehicle exhibits a direct, linear driving feel that is consistent across the lineup.

A seamless integration of technology

New Lexus Interface multimedia system

Lexus doubles down with two electrified options, including a 2.5-liter hybrid power train on NX 350h and the first plug-in hybrid electric Lexus model, the first NX 450h+ for the second generation of the NX.

The all-new NX technology is so simple to use, keeping us in touch with the intuitive features of Lexus Interface, such as wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Voice Assistant, cloud-navigation capable with Google Points of Interest (POI). The available Digital Key is a great convenience.

Meticulous accents and high-quality materials

Lexus’s US-developed multimedia system allows effortless integration and the ability to navigate life’s twists and turns in the NX. The eye-catching standard 9.8-inch, optically bonded touch screen supplies intuitive technology at the occupants’ fingertips. The screen’s new Human Machine Interface enhances user interaction through sight, touch and voice while balancing accessibility needs. Go for the optional 14-inch touch screen, it includes a three-year trial for Drive Connect services such as location guidance with Cloud Navigation, Destination Assist, and Intelligent Assistant.

The full all-new 2022 NX lineup consists of NX 250 FWD, NX 250 AWD, NX 350, NX 350h, and the NX 450h+.
More good news: the F SPORT Handling will be available on the NX 350. The F SPORT Handling model did turn up the driving dynamics on some of those Arizona roads with a sporty feel that was amplified by the Active Variable Suspension (AVS), and front and rear performance dampers. Exclusive to the F SPORT family, Dark Graphite Aluminum ornamentation, a unique meter, bolstered sport seats, a newly developed steering wheel, and aluminum pedals and scuff plates set it apart. With perforated interior trim in Black and Circuit Red NuLuxe, the sport-inspired materials are integrated on the seats, steering wheel, and center console. Along with that dedicated F SPORT grille with new front and rear bumpers make both a bold first and lasting impression.
