“Welcome home!” That’s how you’re greeted when arriving at Beaches Turks and Caicos. It’s fitting as the first-rate staff takes personal pride in making every guest feel right at home. Among the villages, which include the Caribbean, French and Italian, there is the newest, Key West. There you can experience the carefree lifestyle of the Florida Keys amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Caribbean. Opened in 2014, Key West Village is the more luxurious of the villages and was developed to appeal to the discerning family traveler. It’s situated on an enviable stretch of world-renowned Grace Bay and boast six pools (the East pool is Adults Only), a fire-feature lounge area and stylish modern furnishings in expansive villas.
Most villas have a full kitchen, dividing area, and laundry. They also have rooftop terraces that are the perfect backdrop for morning coffee, pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap. As a guest, you will check into your village where all your questions will be addressed by a front desk concierge, and you can sign up for a variety of activities. Beaches is an all-inclusive resort and with a no-tipping policy. Because your every need is catered to, they will ask you to let them know what bottles of five-star premium liquor or Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks wines you want to be stocked in your room daily. Wake up in the morning and have your butler bring you Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee or walk over to the French Village for espresso at Café de Paris. Then have breakfast at one of the 21 international restaurants on property. You can put your feet in the sand while eating at Barefoot or have mimosas, bloody marys and eggs benedict at Schooners an extraordinary restaurant specializing in regional cuisine and more. You can sun on the beach while you receive butler-serviced drinks and food or go out on a glass-bottom boat excursion. Relax in one of the 15 pools on the property (hint: the water in the French Village’s main pool is the warmest) or play a game of chess on the life-size board. Key West Village boasts Neptunes, which features fresh seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. Keep in mind that dinner attire is beach casual and befitting when your dining at a five-star global fare.
Sapodilla’s is where you can escape to an adults-only restaurant featuring exotic and adventurous dishes like the grilled spiny lobster with just the right amount of Caribbean spice. Le Petit Chateau is where you will savor Parisian-inspired cuisine and fine wine picks from the world’s most acclaimed vineyards. While you’re in the French village, take a stroll through Eleanor’s Garden. Don’t leave without attending Thursday’s fish fry or trying the luscious offerings at The Jerk Shack. Before you must leave the glorious Key West Village, take the elevator in the library to the top floor and take in an amazing view of the entire property. Beaches Turks & Caicos’ Key West Village.
