Not long ago our auto team got the invite from Acura to check out Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue as they perform live at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park just outside of Atlanta. The evening was to include and lively session by special guests Tank & The Bangas we knew we had to be there.
Trombone Shorty, beloved bandleader, singer, songwriter, and horn-blower, born Troy Andrews, knows how to put on a show. When our driver pulled up to our hotel in a high-performance Acura MDX Type S rocking Trombone Shorty out of its 25-speaker ELS STUDIO 3D® Signature Edition audio system we knew it was going to be a fab night and we were pumped for the show.
Back in 2017, Acura started its 18-year commitment to the music and arts of New Orleans as the automaker teamed up with iconic bandleader, singer, songwriter, and producer Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews as the Official Automotive Partner of the Trombone Shorty Foundation’s Shorty Fest and Trad Fridays.
