In 2018 a group of younger style-focused and performance-driven folks made their way to a BMW store to admire the 8 Series. They joined a group of generational BMW loyalists awestruck with the forward design of the 8.
Today we get a first look at the new 2023 8 Series Coupe, Convertible & Gran Coupé. This trio of exceptionalism is sure to make waves, once again, with the stunning new exterior and detailed interior design enhancements. With BMW flair a limited edition model The 8 X Jeff Koons, is also being created.
From the new illuminated Kidney Grille, complete with an embedded M badge, to aerodynamically optimized M exterior mirrors, a design that was originally developed exclusively for the BMW M8, signature details are now futuristic iconography. Also for 2023, the new optional M Sport Package Professional adds extended Shadow line trim with the black kidney grille, black calipers for the standard M Sport brakes, M Shadow line headlights with dark inserts, and a black M rear spoiler for the M850i xDrive Coupe.
To mark the 50th anniversary of BMW M GmbH, all M850i xDrive models will be offered with the classic BMW Motorsport logo on the hood, trunk, and wheel hub covers in place of the usual BMW roundels. With its staggered semicircles in blue, purple. and red, the anniversary emblem is reminiscent of the original BMW M GmbH trademark that was first used on racing cars in 1973.
Inside the digital display network, consists of a 12.3-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and a central Control Display along with the seventh generation of BMW iDrive. The new 8 Series is a family of true luxury performance vehicles that are dynamic as they are elegant.
