For folks that should know but don’t Mission Workshop is a bespoke menswear active brand from San Francisco. Their latest collection is part of their Advanced Projects™, and these fall/winter style pieces are designed and constructed with zero compromise. The collection pushes the limits of what is possible with materials, technology and design in men’s wear.
With the fit gym-going-guy in mind Mission Workshop is using advanced material to promote a new aesthetics with methods of garment construction to enhance feel, and fit. More then how the garment ‘fits’ on your body, Mission Workshop is focused on how it moves with your body. Highlighted pieces like the Bomber, Ren Leather Jacket, Eiger Field Coat, and the Stryman Topcoat are all modern takes of the classic men’s heritage jackets that incorporate 37.5® technology.
37.5® technology is made from particles that can absorb infrared light that the human body emits. The particles are biodynamic and work to keep your body at the ideal temperature of 37.5c degrees and the ideal relative humidity next to your skin at 37.5c%
Garnering their name from where they design, develop and work in San Francisco, the Mission Workshop was created out of the desire to build gear as tough as it is beautiful. ‘It’s this pursuit that has kept us at it for more than 20 years.
The full history goes way back to 1994 when my co-founder Mark Falvai and our good friend Doug Hudson started the company Chrome Industries which helped spark an entire movement in technical lifestyle cycling bags and apparel.’
One last note, The Mission Bomber is our fall must-have, this is a new evolution in the 85-year history of the bomber jacket, check out the video below. Mission Workshop.
