Leave it to Rolls-Royce to create a low key chic summer kick-off experience amid the collective shift in the way we spend time with friends, travel, and celebration of the finer things in life.

Rolls-Royce teamed up with Daou Vineyards for a unique Zoom Wine tasting with the fabulous founders Georges and Daniel Daou of DAOU Vineyards and Maeve Pesquera Senior Vice President at DAOU Family Estates, and guest from around the country who, after spending time with some incomparable Rolls-Royces came to together sip wine with the Daou brothers.

Located on DAOU Mountain the vineyard is at a height of 2,200 feet above the coastal range and it is complete with breathtaking views from the highest winery on the Central Coast of California. The mountain is cooled by the Pacific Ocean, fourteen miles away, and gentle breezes that flow over the Templeton Gap tempers the high heat that can damage the grapes.

“We have, arguably, the most perfect climate in the world to ripen Bordeaux varieties and Cabernet Sauvignon.” Daniel Daou stated.

This early summer evening was filled with fascinating facts about Daou’s dedication to the fine and intricate craft of winemaking and many laughs were shared among the far-away friends. This special and exclusive event is just another joy of being a Rolls-Royce owner and burgeoning wine connoisseurs under the tutorage of the world recognized, and passionate wine-makes the Daou brothers.
My favorite Daou Vineyards wine was “Soul of a Lion” and we were told it is DAOU’s most powerful and complex wine that represents a man who was nothing short of a leader. While I may not be a great leader I am confident this wine will lead me to many more evening sharing and enjoying DAOU Vineyards Soul of a Loin with friends both near and far.
