This ‘land yacht’ is staring down other large SUVs with its bold stance and supreme appointments. Now with the QX80 in line with the DNA of the Infiniti design, the new double-arch grill and signature headlights are a design standout, making the front fascia shape and defining the vehicles general character.

The rear fascia, taillights and tailgate have been redrawn to improve the 20-inch wheels are now standard, and 22-inch wheels are also available. In keeping with “inspired by luxury jets,” theme the quilted leather seats are contoured and sleek. The new Saddle Brown semi-aniline leather available for 2018 models is truly refined luxury. The new QX80 provides space for seven or even eight passengers and with 400-hp 5.6-liter V-8 with a seven-speed automatic you power and performance.

Three Rows Of Style

Infiniti’s designers have created a cabin with a more contemporary execution, both in terms of how it looks and how it feels to the touch. The high-quality tailoring is matched by contrasting colors, new materials for seats and paneling, and more precise attention given to the details.

Depending on specification, the backs of each seat are also skinned in quilted leather, harmonizing the effect throughout the cabin, with the upholstery sewn together with contrast double stitching. Infiniti’s interior designers have turned to the milieu of haute couture for inspiration, using leather piping to create sharper, more angular edges to seats and headrests.

The cabin of the new QX80 can be trimmed in either leather, as standard, or with semi-aniline leather with color-contrast piping that is optional. For the latest incarnation of Infiniti’s luxury SUV, the new, premium Saddle Brown leather option is coupled with black contrast stitching and piping. The new model is also offered with Wheat or Graphite upholstery, available in standard leather or premium semi-aniline leather. Wheat semi-aniline leather is finished with dark gray stitching and piping; Graphite models are contrasted with medium gray stitching and piping.

Infiniti has not been a major player in this large SUV segment, but with this refresh and refinement you get the sense that Infiniti is more than ready for the playoffs. Infiniti QX80.
