After seeing our photographer’s shots of the car, I could not wait to drive this new International Orange Edition MINI on curvy upstate roads and in the city . With ease the MINI took me from the country to city and from Trader Joe’s to the gym. The car passed the shopping bag storage test with room to spare, easily holding a weeks worth of groceries for two.
MINI had the debut of the MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop International Orange Edition to during MINI TAKES THE STATES, a fabulous biennial owners road rally this past July in Portland, OR, and in Orlando, F L. MINI USA showcased this special edition MINI John Cooper Works model on both the Eastern and Western routes. This boldly-colored, limited production special edition was also on display in Keystone, Colorado, at the final gathering events.

This shade of orange with a Midnight Black metallic roof and spoiler, is a road trip stand out, and design features include black pieces for the side stripes, fuel filler cap, and door handles, and carbon fiber mirror caps. This special MINI sits on Ferric Gray 18-inch double spoke wheels and the John Cooper Works Pro Exhaust features Bluetooth-controlled flaps and chrome tailpipe trim.
Inside it is all about Sirius XM with the Harman Kardon Sound System, heated front seats and automatic climate control. The touchscreen navigation and active driver assistance with a head-up display is very cool, and a panoramic roof felt and the expansive panoramic roof added a lightness to already spacious interior.. With an impressive powerful and potent 2.0-liter Twin-Turbo four-cylinder this MINI rev the “fun” odometer into the red.
