A Statement In Design

Lincoln Continental

A Bold Statement

The Lincoln Continental is making a bold and stylish statement. With elegance and tailoring that matches a bespoke Tom Ford suit and the aggressive confidence of its commissioner, the new Continental is driving luxury to new heights. While German, British and Asian automakers have been making inroads in the luxury car market the stealth Lincoln has been rethinking what luxury means in the American and world market. Lincoln, the brand that presented the 1970’s luxurious ‘land yacht’ Lincoln Mark V, recognized that luxury encompasses more then a wealth of posh appointments. Technological innovations that match the needs of high-end consumers have been added to the mix, and pure luxury ensues. The Lincoln Continental is the rebirth of a luxury kingpin complete with cutting edge advancements in technology and engineering.

Just sitting behind the wheel, in a 30-way adjustable leather seat, with control of the 400 horsepower, twin-turbo V6 engine motor, and accelerating from 0 to 60 in five seconds, signals a unparalleled melding of form and function.

Luxury Defined By A Leader

The new Continental brings its own brand of unique luxury to savvy consumers starting at just over $45,000. The front-wheel-drive Continental with a 305 hp V6 is well appointed in every way and yet the 400 hp all-wheel-drive Continental Black Label we tested was simply everything. To further elevate the level of finery and value the Continental comes with free car washes and pick-ups.

The inside of the Continental is designed with their driver’s lifestyles in mind. Our test car had the all-new head-up display (HUD) system that uses Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, used mainly in movies theaters, to deliver a much brighter image on glass with an infrared reflective coating.  Rear-seat passengers are pampered with the legroom akin to that on a private jet. Our test car was complete with reclining massage seats similar to those found on the most exclusive seating in a new Boeing 787.

Our 400 hp 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 delivers smooth power. We effortlessly accelerated to keep up with the traffic on the 405. The adjustable suspension on Comfort Mode, gives you that true unmatched American Flagship ride. In Sport Mode you forget you are behind the wheel a large sedan and the interaction with the car is engaging and invigorating. From the integrated rear view mirrors to the door handles and from every dial, button and knob to the steering wheel, the design team wanted every touch point of this car to be educated with design innovation.

Continental Style

The Lincoln Continental is major reason why the past Lincoln owners are coming back to the brand. Recognizing that Lincoln is graced with exceptional experience, and the attitude of a daring upstart, an energetic younger Lincoln customer is emerging. A new generation is curious about the buzz, visiting dealerships, and leaving with a shiny, stylish, trendsetting, high performance lifestyle accessory. This is an exciting time in the luxury universe and the Lincoln Continental is back standing as a flagship of luxury in the American auto industry. Lincoln Continental.
