Last night Intersect by Lexus opened in New York City after amazingly successful launches in Dubai and Tokyo. The exciting event was even more stellar with guest that included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Justin Theroux, Willie Harlow, Rami Malek, Jason Harper, Danny Meyer, Timo Weiland, Peter Som and Wall Street’s Neal Bakshi. The preview experience filled with immersive activations delights everyone though his or her every sense.
My sense of taste was overwhelmed with samples from the restaurant’s menu and I joined everyone delighting in the sounds of Nancy Whang for LCD Soundsystems. Whang’s sounds were synched with and immersive, generative dance floor that transformed guests’ movements into visualizations.
Intersect by Lexus includes public and private gallery spaces, a full service restaurant at Intersect, a bar and a café. Intersect will call upon visionaries to collaborate on experiential programming that engages with the building, community and five core pillars – hospitality, food, design, entertainment and technology. As this is the third and largest global location, continuing the brand’s commitment to supporting innovation on a local, national and global level. Intersect by Lexus NYC is at 412 W. 14th Street, and has been designed by acclaimed interior designer Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall Inc. INTERSECT BY LEXUS NYC.
