Bentley Mulsanne Speed

Bentley Mulsanne Speed

Substance that defines Bentley.

High on the style quotient, this 2016 Bentley Mulsanne Speed is a classic in the making. With a certain quite elegance Bentley defines the Apex of luxury. Raising the bar not only for super sedans this Mulsanne Speed brings a new level of coveted sumptuousness to the luxury segment.

The first thing you notice with this 6,000 pound Bentley is that it is a true drivers car with it’s 6.75-liter twin-turbo charged V-8 engine compete with 530 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque. Boasting the ability to achieve 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds, the Mulsanne goes from 0 to 100 mph in a mere 11.1 seconds, and its top speed is 190 mph.

When driving the Mulsanne Speed through curvier sections of highway or  on a country road, the Bentley mode or Sport mode are preferable, as they maintain ride comfort while better enabling the side-to-side transitions required at a brisk pace. Bentley Motors president for the Americas, Michael Winkler recommended the Sport mode for an improved feel and maximum comfort on our recent drive.

Inside, fabulous luxe-wood veneers wrap around the entire cabin reminding many owners of the interiors of their private plane or a world-class yacht moored in Monaco Harbor. The impeccable interior appointments include finished metal vents with classic Bentley pulls knobs. Classic British luxury is elevated and every style detail adds to the substance that defines Bentley.
Executive reclining rear seat, complete with iPad-based workstations that fold out of the rear of the front seats makes the Bentley Mulsanne Speed an office on wheels.

The rear cabin is equally an entertainment oasis. With a sound system that included a 20-speaker Naim sound system, and video monitors located in the backs of the front-seat headrests, entertainment is a premium. There are picnic tables trays that motor up and out of the front seat while revealing the iPad and a Bluetooth keyboard for passengers use. The rear cabin also includes a bottle cooler for wine or champagne and matching flutes for service, making the ride home less of a chore.

Make no mistake the Mulsanne Speed is tailored for the driver, selectable sports suspension and steering on demand squarely put the ride defining traits in the drivers control. The contemporary styling features define the Mulsanne Speed as a statement in all things luxury. The on-board technology and connectivity is state of the art. The Bentley Mulsanne Speed is made for performance and styled with enduring luxury that is statement making and a standout among leading luxury vehicles worldwide. Bentley Motors.
