Gladiator Mojave, Jeep’s first vehicle to earn the newly minted Desert Rated badge is an off-road thrill seeker sand-swept fantasy ride. Capable of facilitating chores in the city and suburbs this Jeep excels on the open highways, unpaved roads, dirt trails, off-roads, water passages, and in the grueling desert sands leaving you with a challenging array of weekend getaway destinations. The exclusive FOX hydraulic jounce bumpers and 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks with external reservoirs bolster Gladiator Mojave’s high-speed sand-running capabilities.
Needless to say, having the ability to traverse the desert sands may not be an everyday necessity but this Jeep’s cutting edge performance capabilities will enhance your every mission. From the rugged and punishing terrain to the route to soccer practice this level of performance is a natural for Jeep with a nearly 80-year history of 4×4 capability leadership.
Jeep Desert Rated vehicles represent the ultimate in high-speed off-road capability that is at a whole new level.“4×4 capability has always been the foremost pillar of the Jeep brand and the new Gladiator Mojave is a natural extension of our legendary Trail Rated 4×4 capability leadership,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA North America. “Jeep Gladiator is already the most capable Jeep pickup on the planet and, with the addition of the new Mojave model, we are delivering our most passionate customers a new level of capability with the ability to master high-speed desert and sand terrains.”
Jeep Gladiator Mojave styling declares readiness for high-speed off-road fun, and a want for an immeasurable sandbox to show off in. Gladiator Mojave models feature new, specially-tuned FOX™ 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks with external reservoirs, industry-exclusive FOX front hydraulic jounce bumpers, a reinforced frame, a one-inch front suspension lift with a silver front skid plate, stronger axles with cast-iron steering knuckles, aggressive front seats with integrated upper bolsters and standard 33-inch Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. All these standard features contributed to the Gladiator Mojave Desert Rated vehicle status.
The front suspension lift gives a prominent appearance, and details like the unique hood decal on its heavy-duty performance hood with center scoop, unique exterior badges, orange tow hooks, unique 17 x 7.5-inch wheels, with Jeep Performance Parts step sand slider side rails between those wheels make this beast a boss.
Inside our Gladiator Mojave power is omnipresent. Aggressive front seats, complete with embroidered Mojave logos and integrated upper bolsters hold us in place.
With its 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, this Jeep is ready to play “Big Time.” Gladiator Mojave.
