Aston Martin Rapide S

The Aston Martin Rapide S is a standout among super cars, it is an extraordinary exception to the concept of the 4-door sedan. With equal mix of British design, historical Aston Martin DNA and the latest in technology and engineering, the Rapide S is tempting to anyone that has coveted perfect power in the past. With its massive one-piece grill declaring your arrival, the Aston Martin Rapide S turns the tables on the status quo. Aston’s hand-built 5.9-liter V12 engine that produces 550 horsepower and 465 lb-ft. of torque with specifically tuned eight-speed automatic transmission allows the driver to change gears automatically or manually with the steering column-mounted magnesium paddles.

 

 
 

 
 

 

The Rapide S will bring you and 3 others from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.2 seconds with top speeds over 200 mph. Aston Martin gave the Rapide S an adaptive damping system that offers three different suspension settings, “Normal,” “Sport” and “Track” – to allow the driver to prioritize handling and ride comfort as desired. Automatically taking sensor readings from the car’s systems, including throttle position, brake position, steering wheel rotation and vehicle speed, to determine driving conditions while the vehicle configures the damping accordingly.

Inside the distinct appointments are sharp, direct and refined.

Drivers will easily forget the backseats and drive this car with determination. Fine leather upholstery and crafted aluminum controls are at hand. The seats are designed for comfort, safety and ultimately to keep the driver in his seat, firmly in control. Rear passengers will marvel and the spacious back cabin, which offers ample leg room and headroom. The two bucket seats, separated by a center console, will grip your passengers in place on curvy country roads. Comfort is the primary objective throughout but this super car never strays far from its performance roots. Options for sportier interiors include red leather seats with black trim and there are also options for aural management, which can eliminate ‘noise’ while filling the cabin with ‘desirable sound.’ Aston Martin offers more custom options for the Rapide S from Q by Aston Martin, a department that creates bespoke and luxurious cars in tandem with the consumer.
