For the past ten years or so I have been a massive fan of Savannah, Georgia with It’s architecture, great time, small hotels and fabulous shopping. I see why that folks living in Savannah embrace the town’s artistic side, and those who visit come to see the city’s craftiness. Savannah’s emerging art scene celebrates designers of all mediums, including the art of jewelry and jewelry-making. Savannah’s newest boutique for designer gems, 13 Secrets, aims to broaden the local jewelry scene by bringing together a diverse group of artists and displaying them in the same room.
Located in the Historic District on the fabulous Oglethorpe Avenue, 13 Secrets offers an array of quality adornments—from earrings and necklaces to broaches, bracelets and even some silk scarves. Designer and owner, Chad Crawford, said the idea for the store was, from the beginning, to create a space for multiple jewelry designers to feature their work.
13 Secrets Jewelry Gallery was founded to introduce jewelry artists from around the world and display them in elegant, chic and approachable environment. Chad Crawford, the store owner along with Manu Bansal are both driven by Savannah’s artistic culture. Art is more than paintings, as 13 Secrets proves, by bringing art directly form artists’ studios that Chad has met through his extensive travels. In addition, Chad continually creates designs for his own jewelry line – Andrew Hamilton Crawford at 13 Secrets.
