MAZDA CX-5

THE MAZDA CX-5

The Mazda CX-5 takes the thinking out of driving. The stylish and elegantly improved crossover SUV reminds drivers why it’s in a class of its own. An impressively intuitive Active Driving Display is among the highlights and that eternal blue mica shimmers in the bright sun and glows in twilight giving a luxurious feel to the fuel efficient car. With Skyactiv-G 2.5L engine that includes six speeds and a sport mode, the 30 mpg AWD CX-5 is perfect for the highways home or a trip to the country side.

Mazda and advancement go hand in hand, the CX-5’s blind spot monitoring extends further than just a blinking light in the side mirrors, but also in a notification shown in the Active Driving Display. It is a transparent projection in the windshield that displays information such as the driver’s current speed, blind spot alerts, and even traffic sign recognition. The display will show when you’re approaching a stop sign, entering a new speed zone, and will even alert you of the car ahead. When the driver is engaged at a lower speed, the brake support will assist the driver in braking quickly and can also apply the brakes when the driver is unable to.

DELIVERING SOPHISTICATION AND SENSIBILITY

All within reach, a simple entertainment system exists for the driver and passengers to enjoy. The multi-function commander control is at a comfortable position for the driver to change music, navigation, or other system preferences in the car while in drive. The close controls keep the driver’s attention forward, as the 7-inch color display with a rear camera is positioned adjacent to the steering. Bluetooth compatible as well as an aux jack and four USB inputs, the entertainment can be supplied from any device. With a Bose ® 10-speaker sound system, voices and tones are clearly understood while being played in the eerily quiet body of the car.

The spacious five passenger seating in the Mazda CX-5 is a reminder that this is a car everyone can enjoy. With advanced dual front airbags, front side-impact airbags, and front and rear side air curtains, there’s assurance that the driver and their passengers will be kept safe in any situation. While in reverse, additional support systems like Rear Cross Traffic Alert keep an extra eye out when on the road. A dynamic stability control and lane keep assist also aid the driver in high risk driving conditions. The Mazda CX-5 is proof that drivers can drive safely while also in style.
