Lamborghini NYC Debuts

Huracán EVO Coupé and Spyder

The next generation of V10 super cars, the Huracán EVO Coupé and Spyder made their North American premier at a fabulous exclusive event, presented in conjunction with the 2019 New York International Auto Show.  The newest additions to the Huracán range had the 300 guests, including long-time Lamborghini customers, VIPs, and media spinning with delight at the Highline Stages in New York City during the debut event. “The Huracán EVO presents the next evolution of performance and technology, which further amplify the driving emotion for our customers on North American roads,” said Federico Foschini, Chief Commercial Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. “The state-of-the-art vehicle dynamic controls and distinctive Lamborghini design enhance the everyday driving experience in both a coupé and open-top versions for maximum road and track performance.”

The distinctive design defines the aerodynamic superiority and enhanced driving dynamics of the Huracán EVO. A new front bumper gives the car a low, assertive personality, but more importantly assures aerodynamic efficiency via the front splitter with integrated wing. The enlarged air intakes feature the Ypsilon shape that is inherent in Lamborghini design DNA.

The side profile of the Huracán EVO is articulately dynamic, featuring Lamborghini’s hexagon design references in the windows, the new wheel design and around the new side air intakes.

It is at the rear of the car that the Huracán EVO most distinctively evokes the power and dynamism that lies within. Reflecting the wide, open, naked rear seen in its race car brother, the twin outlets of the new sports exhaust system are positioned high up in the car’s rear bumper. At the upper end of the tail an integrated, slotted spoiler provides enhanced airflow, clearly asserting the car’s aerodynamic agility.

The Huracán EVO Spyder is presented in Verde Selvans: an iconic new Lamborghini four-layer green, and one of an enhanced range of colors and trims available for the Huracán EVO coupé and Spyder. Interior options include new EVO trim in Alcantara and leather mix, with stitching and trim details to match the body tone. A number of style packages are offered as well as lightweight materials such as Carbon Forged Composite and Lamborghini’s patented Carbon Skin. Lamborghini’s comprehensive customization program, Ad Personam, allows virtually limitless personalization of the new car.  The EVO Spyder sports the new 20” Aesir rims, with Pirelli P Zero tires.

The Huracán EVO features a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated Lamborghini V10 engine, with an output of 640 HP at 8,000 rpm. With a top speed of 202 mph, the coupé can accelerate 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and the Spyder in 3.1 seconds. Customers will begin taking delivery of the new Huracán EVO this summer at a suggested retail of $261,274 USD for the Coupé and $287,400 USD for the Spyder Based on the prowess and performance of the Huracán Performante, the Huracán EVO Coupé and Spyder incorporate next-generation vehicle dynamic controls and aerodynamics. Fitted with new rear-wheel steering and a torque vectoring system on the four wheels, the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) plays an integral role in cutting-edge technology. With the addition of the Huracán EVO Lamborghini has a complete range of offerings for the person that had worked hard to have it all.  Lamborghini.
