The latest Jeep Compass Trailhawk 4×4 is the car for commuters that spend their work week planning long, adventurous weekends. In this car the Spitfire Orange color with a matte black section covering the car’s hood is a standout sporty hue. Not leaving its exterior to do all the talking, the black leather interior with ruby red accents and cushioned bucket seats also deliver and fast paced flair. Its 9-speed automatic transmission and stability features make this ideal for uphill journeys in all terrains, including mud, sand, and rock.
This compass has the classic hardiness of Jeep’s legacy, but all the fixings of a perfect 21st century vehicle. From the basic pushbutton start and remote keyless entry to having Uconnect®, this Jeep is easy to operate and interact with. The Compass allows both Android Play and Apple Car Play, making for a seamless corded connection between the driver’s phone and the entertainment system. Through a quick response touch system and conveniently placed controls on the steering wheel, the driver can hear their texts, respond to phone calls, and adjust the audio settings. Initiating calls is as easy as on the driver’s smartphone with the use of voice activated searching through the connected phone’s contacts.
As part of the optional features, the Compass can also include a Beats ™ by Dr. Dre sound system. Lining the complete interior of the vehicle from the driver’s seat to the trunk, the speakers sound fills the SUV with the perfect balance of bass and melody. The speakers complement a variety of music, from chill sounds on a relaxing drive home, or the thumping anthems of a weekend getaway. Even as the volume increases, the aspects of each sound element improve minus a tinny sound or audible vibrations of the car’s accessories.
The legacy of Jeep is its ability to perform in all conditions and this model is no exception. Near the gear shift, the Selec-Terrain ™ controls allows the driver to switch between auto, snow, sand, mud, and rock driving modes. These controls give the driver peace of mind knowing exactly what their car is capable of handling at any given time. In addition to the driving modes, hill assist and descent controls give the driver more support on climbing terrains. Equipped with rear red tow hooks and a full sized spare tire, the Compass is prepared for any sudden change of plans.
The 2017 Compass Trailhawk 4X4 makes consumers feel like they can have it all: durability, technology, and flexibility. Jeep.
