Buick’s latest Encore model is a car that just gets it: safety, technology, and speed. With a compact yet spacious design and an Ecotec turbo engine, Buick shows that it’s possible to have a car that works as hard as you do.
Even in its standard equipment, the Encore exceeds that of other small SUV’s. Its airbag coverage is exceptional, offering driver and front passenger protection at the front, knee, side, and head. It also features side impact and head curtains for rear passengers, contributing to the Encore’s overall 5-star government safety rating.
Upon push start, the car is seen and not heard with its quiet tuning and automatic shut off. This feature may be the reason for its impressive fuel economy of 28 mpg, on the higher end of the car type’s range. Daily commutes are not the only future of this car, its 1.4L VVT and 4-cylinder engine has the capability to do so much more. For longer journeys drivers can take advantage of cruise control and the stabilitrak-stability control system. With these tools in the driver’s hands, more time is spent on enjoying the ride instead of fearing the roads. This model also includes a standard rear vision camera, keeping an extra eye out in tough parking spots and alerting you of oncoming pedestrians and traffic.
What’s a car these days without the intelligence of a smartphone? Not the experience that Buick wants to deliver. The 8” diagonal screen displays the entertainment and connectivity features of the car. After a quick set-up, the driver and passengers can connect their devices via Bluetooth or usb cord to stream music, podcasts, or use the talking features of the phone. The optional 6-speaker Bose audio system produces crystal clear sound that the entire car can enjoy. Non-smartphone options like XM radio, navigation, and OnStar can be accessed from the central screen as well as the steering wheel for driver-friendly interaction. The Encore also serves as a hot spot on wheels, offering a 4G LTE and Wi-fi connectivity.
Buick Encore provides the best with many upgrades. As a company with admirable priority for safety and fuel economy, it does not leave drivers disappointed.
